Hometown

I was raised in the close-knit community of Salmon Arm, BC. My commitment to hard work comes from my parents: my father successfully runs his own hardwood flooring company (installing, sanding & finishing), and my mother dedicated herself to caring for others as a Nurse at the local Salmon Arm hospital. Their entrepreneurial spirit and dedication to service shaped my values.

Education

Graduated from University of British Columbia with a Bachelors of Management and a specialization in accounting in 2013.

Work Experience

My financial journey began at Interior Savings Credit Union in Kelowna, where I gained a fundamental understanding of the banking industry from the ground up as a teller. I then transitioned to Bank of Montreal as a Finance Manager, quickly broadening my expertise to include both small investments and basic home financing solutions.

Notable Achievements

Following university, I faced the common challenge of significant student loan debt. To quickly establish a strong financial foundation, I dedicated several years to working on the oil rigs. This period taught me invaluable lessons in hard work and fiscal discipline, allowing me to pay off those debts in a short time and move forward with a powerful commitment to financial strategy.

Family & Fun

Outside of the office, I prioritize time with my lovely wife and our dog, Señor Hector. I’m an avid snowboarder at our world-class resorts, and I enjoy staying active by playing golf on our picturesque courses and improving my tennis game.
